Personal Alarms.
Used primarily to draw attention to you and your attacker, these devices are a nice addition to your self defense set. Delivering up to 130 decibels of ear piercing sound, personal alarms can be heard up 1/4 mile away. Many of these devices can pull double duty as a door alert, and are great for single entry residences such a high floor apartments and dorm rooms. We do not recommend that you carry one of these devices as a single line of self defense as they have no debilitating effects. We do however suggest that a keychain model be carried in conjunction with pepper spray, a Taser or a stun gun as a primary line of self defense. Remember, if you are being attacked, always go to your primary weapon first. Do not hesitate! Use the personal alarm to attract attention only after you have sucessfully escaped.
